As a printer you are responsible for managing, setting up and monitoring our printing machines. With your knowledge, precision and experience, you will process the print jobs and ensure the quality of the printed products for our customers.
Tasks of printers

You are responsible for the proper set-up, operation and monitoring of our printing machines.

You ensure the economic and sustainable use of raw materials and auxiliary materials.

Care and maintenance of the printing machines are also part of your daily work routine.

You eliminate safety deficiencies and disruptions and ensure compliance with and implementation of safety and quality requirements.

You are responsible for your machines and are therefore also responsible for achieving quantity and quality targets.

You comply with and participate in the further development of the LEAN processes.
Here you will work as a printer
As a trained print media technologist, you will mainly work in print shops and production halls. You will have your assigned printing system firmly under control.

How to succeed in your professional career as a printer at THIMM
Vocational training
We offer the dual training system in which you will learn everything about the planning, production and testing of printing resources both within our company and in your vocational college. The training lasts three years and ends with an examination. It is possible to shorten the training by half a year.
