Awards for creative displays: Thimm wins three POPAI D-A-CH Awards in the Beauty & Fragrance category

Northeim, 09.05.2019 - Triple success in the "Beauty & Fragrances" category: The jury of the international POPAI D-A-CH Awards honoured three Thimm displays with the coveted awards. The "4711 Acqua Colonia White Peach & Coriander" counter display and the "Naturkosmetik dm" display each received a golden Indian. The "Revlon ColorSilk" palette display was awarded a silver Indian. The coveted statues were awarded at a grand gala in Frankfurt on 8 May.
The "4711 Acqua Colonia White Peach & Coriander" counter display for Mäurer & Wirtz is decorated with small works of art by Spanish illustrator Gabriel Moreno. These are perfectly matched to the White Peach & Coriander fragrance from 4711 Acqua Colonia. The high-quality counter display consists of a natural material mix of linen cover, a real wood element and printed, refined paper. This exclusive look makes the display stand out in the perfumery market.
The "Naturkosmetik dm" display for Weleda is a modular floor display that catches the eye and can be used at the point of sale over the long term. It comprises shelves of different shapes and sizes and offers space for various Weleda natural cosmetics products in 15 compartments, so that the variety of products looks like a shop-in-shop module. Synergy purchases can thus be achieved. The white cardboard casing makes the half-pallet appear to disappear. The natural-coloured design reflects the natural cosmetics product range.
The "Revlon ColorSilk" pallet display for Elizabeth Arden was placed exclusively in Rossmann shops for the launch of the US hair colourant on the German market. High brand and product recognition as well as stability and a clear product arrangement were required. All this was achieved with a two-part body (frame with triangular tip and product tray with six product compartments) and a triangular base panel for insertion. The push-on poster and the fully covered pallet give the display an imposing, one-piece appearance. The design of the pallet display mirrors the product layout and ensures a high level of recognition.

"Our aim is to impress with the quality and innovation of our products and services. The POPAI D-A-CH Awards are therefore a very nice confirmation."
The non-profit organisation POPAI (Point of Purchase Advertising International) has been organising competitions worldwide for over 50 years and awards gold, silver and bronze prizes to the best POS solutions. This year, participants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland submitted their POS competition entries in 15 categories.
